As a youngster, Dr. Henry Rodriguez–Martin was always fascinated by all the tools and equipment at his dentist’s office. However, he became a dentist because of something that happened to his mom when he was just 11 years old. His mom needed a lot of dental work, including five root canals. He remembered how helpless he was to alleviate his mother’s pain. In the end, she ended up losing all those teeth because of poor dental work. He decided there and then to become a dentist and make sure no one went through what his mother did. He brings that same compassion and dental excellence to every one of his patients. He knows how healthy, beautiful smiles affect how people look and feel about themselves.

Dr. Rodriguez–Martin is a native Floridian. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami and his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania. He has more than 18 years of dentistry experience and has completed over 750 hours of continuing education in implantology, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontics. Dr. Rodriguez-Martin is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, South Florida District Dental Association, and the Hispanic Dental Association.

Dr. Marisol Ruiz is a dedicated general dentist with decades of clinical experience and a strong commitment to patient-centered care. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Psychology from Boston College in Massachusetts. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, graduating in 1987.

Following dental school, Dr. Ruiz established and maintained a successful private practice in Boston before relocating to Boca Raton in 1991, where she continued her professional career. Her extensive experience allows her to provide comprehensive dental care with a thoughtful, personalized approach.

Dr. Ruiz is an active member of the Florida Dental Association (FDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA). She currently resides in Pompano Beach with her three children and values the balance between her professional life and family.

Dr. Lisa Saldarriaga majored in Biology at Nova Southeastern University and later received her doctorate from the University’s School of Dental Medicine. After completing dental school, Dr. Saldarriaga volunteered her services at a clinic that offered free dental care and was jointly operated by Broward County and Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Saldarriaga has been practicing dentistry in South Florida for over nine years. She is a warm and caring person with a comprehensive knowledge of dentistry and speaks both English and Spanish fluently. She is a dentist with exceptional technical skills who can relate and empathize with her patients. We are delighted to have her as a member of our team.

Building on this foundation, she pursued advanced training with an Endodontics Residency and Master’s in Oral Sciences at the prestigious University of Illinois in Chicago.

Having honed her skills, Dr. Basali has left her mark in both Chicago and New York City, contributing her expertise to private dental practices. Her ability to seamlessly integrate technical prowess with patient comfort showcases her dedication to providing exceptional care.

Dr. Juan Mendoza is a highly respected periodontist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is known for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, as well as in placing dental implants.
