Dr. Christine Gonzalez is a dedicated professional with a strong background in dentistry and a passion for community service. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the UPR Medical Sciences Campus, School of Dental Medicine in Puerto Rico in 2023. Prior to that, she obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University Central del Este in the Dominican Republic in 2015. Dr. Gonzalez also completed coursework in Biology at the University del Turabo in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, and Human Biology at the University de Puerto Rico en Bayamón.

Throughout her education and career, Dr. Gonzalez has been actively involved in research projects, particularly in the field of craniofacial genomics. She has gained practical dental experience at various institutions, including working with patients with special needs.

Dr. Gonzalez is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. She has volunteered her time and skills to various organizations and initiatives focused on oral health, such as Smile for Life. Her volunteer work has included conducting screenings, educating the elderly population on preventive oral health practices, providing oral screenings and fluoride treatments to school children, delivering health talks on dental hygiene practices for children, and providing professional orientation for middle school students. Additionally, she has participated in dental screening camps for low-income populations and performed dental procedures on communities in need.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys going to the beach, traveling, and spending time with her family. She pursued a career in dentistry because of her passion for helping others, which began during her teenage years when she traveled to the Dominican Republic with a group to help people in need. This experience ignited her love for serving others and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Dr. Erick Nunez is a compassionate and skilled dentist who earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2004. With nearly two decades of experience, Dr. Nunez has devoted his career to delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental care. He is known for his warm demeanor and personalized approach, ensuring each patient feels comfortable and confident throughout their treatment. Dr. Nunez takes pride in educating his patients about the importance of maintaining good oral health as a foundation for overall well-being.

An active member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Nunez is committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of advancements in dental technology and techniques. His dedication to continuous education allows him to provide the most effective and modern care to his patients, reflecting his passion for excellence in his field.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Nunez expresses his creativity through music. As an accomplished drummer and guitarist, he finds joy and inspiration in performing and composing. For him, both dentistry and music share a need for technical skill, artistry, and an understanding of individual needs—qualities he brings to every aspect of his life.

Dr. Mailyn Rodriguez is a compassionate general dentist dedicated to creating comfortable, personalized experiences for every patient she treats. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she provides a full range of dental services, including preventive care, restorative treatments, veneers, clear aligners, and TMD therapy. Her commitment to patient-centered care is reflected in her gentle chairside manner and her focus on clear, open communication.

Dr. Rodriguez is known for taking the time to explain each step of the treatment process, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care. She develops customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals, helping them achieve healthier, more confident smiles.

Dr. Alla Bizanti received her Bachelor in Dentistry in 2006 from Altahadai University of Dental Surgery, Tripoli. After that, she graduated with a Masters in Health and a Masters in Business administration from Webster University in Orlando. She followed this by completing a two year advanced residency in general dentistry at the Ivy League, Columbia University of Dental Medicine in New York.

Dr. Bizanti is deeply passionate about serving her patients and ensuring they have the best possible dental experience. She strives to put smiles on her patients’ faces, and to constantly improve her knowledge and skills, she consistently attends various dental conferences and implant courses each year.

Dr.Bizanti is an active member in the dentist society. She currently serves as an At Large Alternate Delegate with the American Dental Association, and is an active member of Florida Dental Association, Central Florida Dental Association and FDAPAC.

Dr. Bizanti enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, swimming, baking and snorkeling. She is fluent in English and Arabic and loves serving all her patients.

Dr. Richard Burns is a highly experienced orthodontist with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. He began his academic journey at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, graduating in 1979. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree cum laude from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1983. He completed a dental residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio in 1984, followed by specialized training in orthodontics at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics in 1986.  

For 31 years, Dr. Burns owned and operated a successful private orthodontic practice in Northeastern Ohio, serving his community with personalized, high-quality care. He also shared his expertise as an Assistant Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, Division of Orthodontics, for 10 years, helping train the next generation of dental professionals. In 2018, he relocated to Florida to continue his passion for orthodontics and remains committed to helping patients of all ages achieve healthy, confident smiles. 

Dr. Burns is an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast District Dental Association, reflecting his dedication to continued professional growth. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time at Disney World, recreational shooting, playing the bass guitar, and indulging in his enthusiasm for high-performance automobiles. His blend of deep experience, academic involvement, and approachable personality makes him a trusted and well-rounded provider in the field of orthodontics. 

Dr. Gregory Urfrig was raised in Los Angeles, CA, but pursued his education on the East Coast. He completed an accelerated 7-year program at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he obtained his Bachelor’s in Biology and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees. At Penn, he distinguished himself by serving as class president throughout his dental school years.

Following his undergraduate and dental education, Dr. Urfrig moved to New York to undertake his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training. He completed his intern year at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, followed by a residency at Kings County Hospital Center/SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn in 2006. Subsequently, he pursued an advanced fellowship in Maxillofacial Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Urfrig’s extensive training has provided him with comprehensive experience in various aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants, bone grafting, IV anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, pathology, and dental extractions. He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS).

With a particular interest in Anesthesia, Dr. Urfrig pursued additional certification, becoming a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA) and a fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology (ADSA).

Dr. Maria A. Giron Cerrato has been practicing dentistry for 19 years. Originally from Honduras, she earned her Doctor in Dental Surgery degree from the Autonomous National University in 2003. Following graduation, she spent her early career treating patients at her father’s private practice in Tegucigalpa.

Dr. Giron Cerrato obtained her Doctor in Dental Medicine degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Temple University. She then completed specialty training in Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia in 2016, with an award from the American Association of Endodontists for the presentation of her research project.

Dr. Giron Cerrato attended New York University for advanced comprehensive dentistry and endodontics training. She also holds an MBA in Human Resources from Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware.

Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys volunteering in local and international health missions and traveling to remote parts of the globe to serve the impoverished. Dr. Giron Cerrato’s goal is to provide patients with compassion, kindness, and quality dental treatment.

Dr. Giron Cerrato enjoys exploring nature and spending time with her two young kids and husband, and she is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Joshua Weinberger is a periodontist who provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a comfortable and welcoming environment. With more than a decade of clinical experience, he focuses on restoring oral health, function, and confidence through thoughtful, evidence-based treatment. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Weinberger values clear communication and works to ensure patients feel informed and supported throughout their care.

Dr. Weinberger earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of San Diego before completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. During dental school, he was actively involved in serving underserved Hispanic communities in the Los Angeles area. After practicing general dentistry for five years, he pursued advanced specialty training in periodontics at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

His clinical training includes periodontal therapy, dental implant placement, bone grafting, and laser-assisted procedures. Dr. Weinberger uses modern techniques to support minimally invasive treatment, efficient healing, and long-term oral health.

Outside of the office, Dr. Weinberger enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with his family.
