Dr. Alex Margolis graduated from the prestigious University of Florida and further pursued his studies at the esteemed University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. His journey continued with medical school at New York University, and he excelled during his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at New York University and Bellevue Hospital Center.

Dr. Margolis demonstrated his commitment to serving the less fortunate and our honored veterans at the Manhattan VA hospital throughout his residency. As a proud member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association, he remains dedicated to staying at the forefront of his field.

Dr. Margolis takes pride in maintaining multiple certifications, including Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He is particularly passionate about various aspects of oral surgery, such as dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, benign pathology removal, facial trauma care, and providing general anesthesia to ensure his patients’ utmost comfort.

What sets Dr. Margolis apart is his exceptional medical expertise and his empathetic and caring nature. He genuinely strives to alleviate his patients’ pain and anxiety. Even under the most challenging circumstances, he remains composed, which greatly reassures and comforts his patients.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Margolis enjoys spending quality time with his beloved family. His wife, Cheri, and their two young children, Aviva and Aidan, and their furry companion Niko, bring immense joy to his life. While his love for sports is evident, he also delights in culinary adventures and exploring new places, as evidenced by his impressive 30 cruises.

Dr. Vanessa Mancuso, a New York native, earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the esteemed New York University College of Dentistry in 2020. She further advanced her expertise by completing a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) and Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Periodontics at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2023. As a dedicated periodontist, she serves both the local community and patients from around the globe, employing an empathetic and individualized approach to patient care.

Her primary focus is on enhancing oral health and creating transformative smiles. Dr. Mancuso remains at the forefront of her field by staying informed on the latest research and advancements in periodontal biology, which she incorporates into her comprehensive treatment strategies. This expertise enables her to accurately diagnose conditions, formulate effective treatment plans, and promote overall oral wellness. She places a high value on open communication, actively engaging with patients to address their concerns, aspirations, and preferences, thereby helping them achieve their desired oral health outcomes.

Dr. Mancuso is a proud member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), Hispanic Dental Association (HDA), Florida Association of Periodontists (FAP), Florida Dental Association (FDA), International Team for Implantology (ITI) and American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Mancuso’s practice incorporates state-of-the-art procedures, including minimally invasive gum grafting, gummy smile correction (gum lift), dental implants, bone grafting, and routine periodontal care.

Beyond her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Mancuso is deeply committed to serving underserved and marginalized communities. She also plays a vital role in mentoring aspiring dental students through the Bringing Smiles Dental Enrichment Program at New York University College of Dentistry, guiding them through the application process and preparing them for interviews.  In her personal time, Dr. Mancuso is passionate about fitness, exploring diverse cuisines, traveling, and cherishing moments with her family.

Dr. Michael E. Newman is a highly qualified and experienced endodontist with 15 years of experience in the field. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and has dedicated his career to specializing in the treatment of diseases and injuries of the tooth pulp and surrounding tissue.

Dr. Newman is known for his expertise in the latest endodontic techniques and technologies and is committed to providing his patients the highest level of care. He takes a patient-centered approach, working closely with each patient to understand their individual needs and goals. He is dedicated to helping his patients achieve optimal oral health and relieve their dental pain, and he is known for his compassionate and caring demeanor.

In addition to his commitment to patient care, Dr. Newman is also dedicated to staying up-to-date with the latest advances in endodontic technology and techniques. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists and regularly attends continuing education courses to ensure that he provides the best possible care to his patients.

When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Newman enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and staying active.
