What is sedation dentistry?
If dental visits make you feel anxious, uncomfortable, or overwhelmed, you’re not alone. Sedation dentistry is a safe and effective way to help you relax while receiving the care you need.
Sedation medications are proven to:
- Ease anxiety or nervousness before and during your appointment.
- Help you feel more comfortable during longer or more complex treatments.
- Minimize discomfort if you have a strong gag reflex, sensitive teeth, or trouble getting numb.
Sedation doesn’t put you to sleep (unless it’s general anesthesia, which we don’t offer), but it helps you feel deeply relaxed so you can get through your visit with ease. Whether you just need to take the edge off or want a more restful experience, we’re here to help you feel at ease every step of the way.
SEDATION OPTIONS
We offer three levels of sedation.
You choose the one that works best for you.

- Wears off quickly so you can get back to your day
Oral Sedation
- A pill you take before your appointment.
- Helps you feel relaxed and drowsy but still awake.
IV Sedation
- Administered through a vein for deeper relaxation.
- You’ll stay conscious but in a very calm, dream-like state.
- We monitor you closely to ensure your safety
