Dr. Karan Doomra is a dedicated and passionate dentist who graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry in 2016. As a committed professional, he is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Central Florida Dental Association (CFDA), and the International Congress of Implantologists, staying actively engaged in the latest advancements in dental care.

Dr. Doomra has always envisioned himself as a “smile architect,” devoted to enhancing smiles, improving oral health, and educating patients about the importance of dental care. His mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality treatment that not only restores dental function but also boosts confidence and well-being.

Beyond dentistry, Dr. Doomra leads a fulfilling personal life with his beautiful wife, two daughters, two dogs, and three birds. He has an adventurous spirit and enjoys thrilling sports like skydiving. After work, he cherishes spending time with his family, creating lasting memories with them.

Fluent in both English and Hindi, Dr. Doomra connects with a diverse range of patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed about their dental health.

Dr. Penny Laowansiri is a dedicated orthodontist who believes in the life-changing impact of a healthy, confident smile. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree with honors before beginning her orthodontic residency at the Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University. There, she completed her Master of Science in Dentistry and Certificate in Orthodontics. Her master’s thesis, “Maxillary Growth and Maturation during Infancy and Early Childhood,” was published in Angle Orthodontist in November 2012, contributing valuable research to the field.

Well-versed in a wide range of orthodontic techniques and technologies, Dr. Laowansiri has experience with traditional orthodontic appliances, functional appliances, ClearCorrect® and other clear aligners, soft tissue laser therapy, and temporary anchorage devices (TADs). She also expanded her clinical training through a fellowship in cleft lip and palate at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.Dr. Laowansiri’s treatment philosophy centers on comprehensive orthodontic care for patients of all ages. She focuses not only on creating beautiful smiles, but also on supporting proper facial growth and development. Treating every patient with the same care and respect she would expect for herself is at the heart of her practice.

She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, and Florida Association of Orthodontists.Outside the office, Dr. Laowansiri enjoys working out at the gym, practicing Pilates, cooking, traveling, and spending cherished time with her young nephews. She is fluent in both English and Thai.

Dr. Mobeen Alvi, an Endodontist who specializes in root canals. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Molecular Biology. He received his dental training at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He completed his residency and advanced specialty training in Endodontics from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Alvi has performed over 10,000 successful root canal procedures using the surgical operating microscope. He has spent his career providing patients with exceptional compassionate care. The thought of a root canal can cause fear and anxiety. However, Dr. Alvi takes his time to listen his patients to understand their previous dental experiences to ensure the procedure is performed as comfortably and as painlessly as possible. Dr. Alvi holds memberships in the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), Florida Association of Endodontists (FAE) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Alvi is married to his beautiful wife of over 10 years and they have 3 children together. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and he is an avid snowboarder. He roots for the Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and the Orlando Magic!

Dr. Shin Kim is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with advanced training in complex oral surgery and intravenous sedation. He is committed to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality surgical care while helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their treatment. Fluent in both English and Korean, Dr. Kim values building trusting relationships with patients and delivering personalized care with a calm and reassuring approach.

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Kim earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from University of California, Los Angeles before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors. Following dental school, he served as a Navy dentist through the Health Professions Scholarship Program before completing his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Dr. Kim has extensive experience in wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, All-on-X procedures, bone grafting, sinus lifts, and facial trauma. During his military service, he proudly cared for Sailors and Marines around the world, including deployment aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. Now practicing in Central Florida, Dr. Kim remains dedicated to delivering skilled surgical care focused on patient comfort, safety, and long-term oral health.
