Fusion teams are built for elite athletes aged 12 to 18U who are ready to push their limits, outwork their competition, and dominate on the court. This program is not for the faint of heart—every position, every minute of game time, and every opportunity is earned through relentless effort and performance in practice and tournaments.
Fusion teams compete in 10 high-level events within the USAV, AAU, and Top Court volleyball programs, including:
4-5 USAV Qualifying Events – Compete against the nation’s best and prove you belong.
4-5 Additional Tournaments – More opportunities to sharpen skills and test resilience.
AAU Nationals – Will represent Ftl Volleyball on the national stage.
USAV Nationals – For qualifying teams, this is the pinnacle of Club Volleyball

Tryouts are not just about making a team—they are a test of willpower. Athletes who rise to the challenge will be placed on a Fusion-level team, ensuring a competitive roster ready to battle at the highest levels.
Nuclear Teams comprise athletes ranging from 12 to 18U who demonstrate the dedication and focus required to excel in volleyball at an “elite” level. Similar to Fusion, Nuclear is a commitment equally shared by athletes and their families. Athletes at the Nuclear level understand that every aspect of the team, from positions to game time, must be earned through weekly competition in practice and tournaments. Nuclear teams participate in 10 events, including 4/5 Top Court events, 2 USAV/AAU events, and 2 USAV qualifying events, as well as AAU Nationals and USAV Nationals for qualifying teams. Like Fusion teams, Nuclear teams practice four times a week, focusing on team dynamics, positions, and conditioning. All athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to be placed on a Nuclear level team, with no spots preselected from previous year’s teams.

Atomic Teams, ranging from 12 to 18U, consist of athletes showcasing a strong foundational skill level, prepared to advance to the next stage of volleyball. Tournaments at this level shift from one-day events in high school gyms to more competitive two-day convention center and sports complexes. Atomic teams are slated to participate in 10 events across USAV, AAU, and Top Court volleyball programs. Similar to Fusion and Nuclear teams, Atomic teams undergo four weekly practices encompassing team dynamics, positional training, conditioning, and structured scrimmages. All athletes attending tryouts will have the opportunity to join an Atomic level team, with no preselection of spots from the previous year’s teams.

The Chemical program is designed for athletes aged 10U to 16U who are beginner-level players looking for volleyball instruction in a team setting while also having the opportunity to compete. The program emphasizes both skill development and team participation in a fun and structured environment. Chemical-level teams focus on cultivating a love for the game of volleyball while teaching fundamental skills.
